Here is YOUR OPPORTUNITY to send Chairman Sean Parks and the rest of the Lake County Commissioners — as well as the entire Florida Republican Party leadership — a very strong public message about how YOU PLAN TO VOTE in 2022 if the Lake County Commissioners betray the people and vote YES for more home builder overdevelopment.
As you may know, the Lake County Commissioners are no longer reading your emails but I understand they just can’t resist reading the comments from the public on the STOP McKinnon Groves Facebook page.
Even though Commissioners technically are supposed to be in a black-out sequester with no information on McKinnon Groves — concerned citizen whistleblower spies inside the Lake County government reveal the Commissioners just can’t resist reading Facebook.
In an Orlando Sentinel expose from 2011, it was discovered that Chairman Sean Parks actually created an anonymous online account in order to post comments on stories appearing in the Orlando Sentinel.
Lauren Ritchie reports that the anonymous account created by Parks (or “someone” who had access to his computer), was used to post comments where the Chairman’s own constituents were disparagingly referred to as “hacks and loons” and one Lake County retired senior citizen was actually referred to in a manner equating her to human waste.
