Occupied by kind-hearted patriotic Americans — WHO TEND TO VOTE REPUBLICAN — and don’t like the kind of big business home builder overdevelopment that you see in “BLUE DOG” democrat counties like Orange County to the east.
According to the Florida Department of State, as of 2021, there are 115,799 registered Republicans in Lake County to 77,421 registered Democrats with 68,929 Independents and 3,888 minor party affiliations.
So, Republicans in Lake County actually hold a VERY SLIM LEAD over Democrats by just over 38,000 voters and if it wasn’t for Independents leaning Republican — the County would already be BLUE.
The real SLEEPING GIANT POWER in Lake County politics are Independents. They are 70,000 strong who normally lean towards Republicans — but right now they are royally PISSED OFF about how “Republican” Commissioners are IGNORING the voters and bending to big business home builders who are destroying the rural way of life in Lake County to build endless home developments with thousands of rooftops.
So, this is YOUR EARLY WARNING Republican leaders….

A 2022 BLUE TIDAL WAVE is now barreling for Lake County in 2022 and 2024 and angry REPUBLICANS with very deep pockets will be leading the charge uniting Independents and Democrats to vote out every single RINO Republican who votes YES on more home builder overdevelopment in Lake County.

And lest you think these are just empty political threats… understand that a Facebook political campaign marketing master was hired by area Lake County residents to run campaigns against the controversial McKinnon Groves development in Winter Garden, Florida.
In just a few short weeks, the campaigns have reached all the voters in Lake County with ABSOLUTELY STUNNING results.
Based on the response, it was discovered upwards of 98% of Lake County voters — Republicans, Independents and Democrats — are ALL UNITED AGAINST one single issue and that is home builder overdevelopment in rural Lake County.
TRANSLATION:
The VOTERS of LAKE COUNTY want HOME BUILDER OVERDEVELOPMENT TO STOP!!!
Yet the “Tavares 3” are ignoring the will of the people and pushing forward to approve a highly controversial, “Villages-style”, golf-cart metropolis with several hundred homes right in the middle of the rural Flat Lake area of Winter Garden which borders the protected Lake Avalon Rural Settlement area of western Orange County.
(Keep in mind… both areas are occupied mostly by Republican voters)
If you doubt what is coming, just take a look at long-held Republican District 1 in western Orange County where DEMOCRAT environmental law attorney Nicole Wilson defeated RINO Republican Betsy VanderLey for the District 1 Commissioner seat in 2020.
This rural area is HEAVILY REPUBLICAN but take note...
REPUBLICANS in District 1 VOTED FOR A DEMOCRAT who is committed to PROTECT THEIR RURAL WAY OF LIFE.
This is EXACTLY what is coming for Lake County Republicans now and NO ONE IS LISTENING???
REPUBLICAN VOTERS in Lake County are SO ANGERED and OUTRAGED with elitist-Lake County RINO Commissioners — they are now raising money to OUST all REPUBLICANS who VOTE YES on McKinnon Groves on September 28th.
I understand SO MUCH MONEY has already been pledged for the effort by the people of Lake County, that a formal Political Action Committee is now being formed for the sole purpose of removing the “TAVARES 3” and all home-builder-biased Republicans from Lake County political power forever.
