Is Bully-Boy-Boyd Threatening to Sue Lake County Commissioners if They Don’t Do What HE WANTS?

Is Scott Boyd attempting to BULLY Lake County Commissioners and Chairman Sean Parks by now threatening to sue IF he doesn’t get an approval for his “Villages-Vision” Monster McKinnon Groves Housing Hellscape in Winter Garden?

It seems that Scott Boyd’s grandiose “Villages-style”, zero-lot-line, nightmare of a plan might be crumbling… and Bully-Boy-Boyd is having a breakdown.

Saturday, August 28th was another beautiful, sunny day in southern Lake County. The honest, hard-working, rural area residents of the greater Flat Lake Area that Scott Boyd proposes to tear up, were enjoying another quiet, peaceful, country morning…

…and as they emerged from their homes with coffee in hand, they were shocked to learn that “someone” had “confiscated” their “STOP Scott Boyd McKinnon Groves” signs they purchased and placed on their private property to exercise their first amendment right to freedom of speech and show their opposition to the “Boyd-Borg” development.

At the same time, on the northern side of Hartwood Marsh Rd, residents in attendance say former Orange County Commissioner Scott Boyd was having a thermonuclear melt-down at his open community meeting for McKinnon Groves. In the back of his white pickup truck, were hundreds of private property signs he had apparently “confiscated” prior to the start of the meeting in order to control the narrative, intimidate the area residents and unconstitutionally silence the voices of opposition — all in order to hide the massive dissent from Lake County District 2 Commissioner and Chairman Sean Parks who was in attendance.

Several residents have reported on Facebook that “Bully-Boy-Boyd” — as he is now known in the chats — was visibly angered and throwing a kindergarten-like temper tantrum and spent a good part of the public community meeting disparaging all the area residents who are opposed to his McKinnon Groves Housing Hellscape.

Several area residents have alleged over the last year that Bully-Boy-Boyd has been attempting to intimidate the local area into submission by having his citrus-grove-goon-squad brown-shirts constantly patrolling the entire area to “confiscate” any and all private property signs that are posted in opposition to him.

If that is indeed true, then former Orange County Commissioner, Scott Boyd — who took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States and freedom of speech — owes the people of the area and all residents of Florida a BIG APOLOGY.

Funny thing about the truth is it always finds a way to make itself known doesn’t it?

For the longest time, area residents regularly reported their STOP BOYD signs mysteriously disappearing and they had NO IDEA who was taking them until yesterday when Scott Boyd inexplicably incriminated himself in a crime by posting this picture on Facebook of hundreds of STOP Scott Boyd McKinnon Groves signs all piled up in the back of his white pickup truck that he apparently “confiscated” from private property owners in the area.

Picture of hundreds of “STOP Scott Boyd McKinnon Groves” signs sitting in the back of Scott Boyd’s white pickup truck. The former Orange County Commissioner posted the picture on Facebook apparently as a flex-in-your-face to local area residents that oppose his McKinnon Groves plan letting them know that he was the one that “confiscated” all their private property signs.

WOW.

Just WOW.

Do we still live in the United States of America folks?

(just checking)

The area residents are NOW DEMANDING that Scott Boyd command his goon-squads to return the signs at once or compensate them for all the money they’ve lost printing up signs over the last year.

Things are getting so bad in Boyd-land, that posts on Facebook suggest the Bully-Boy is now attempting to BULLY the Lake County Commissioners and Chairman Sean Parks by issuing a direct threat at his public community meeting to sue IF the Lake County Commissioners don’t do what HE WANTS and vote to approve his delusional disaster of a development and IGNORE the will of the people of Lake County they were elected to represent.

Chatter in Facebook posts suggests Bully-Boy-Boyd is Now Threatening to Sue if Lake County Commissioners Don’t Do What HE WANTS and Approve His Monster McKinnon Groves Housing Hellscape

Holy ultimatum Batman!

Do you think this could be considered a form of extortion?

Residents report that after ranting about his opposition for the first part of the community meeting, Boyd spent the remainder of the time apologizing and very little in the way of trying to find a middle common ground with the area residents was actually accomplished — which is WHY the public community meeting was held in the first place.

Do you think this might be WHY no one attends Bully-Boy-Boyd’s propaganda festivals (aka Community Meetings) anymore?

Why would anyone want to stand out in the red-hot August morning sun, sweating their shirts off — to hear a washed-up former politician give an “aw-shucks good ol’ boy” silver-spoon-in-his-mouth, I-inherited- thousands-of-acres-of-citrus-groves-and-you-didn’t — dog and pony show — soapbox soliloquy?

Chatter in Facebook posts reveal area residents tired of attending Bully-Boy-Boyd propaganda festivals.

Most regular, hardworking western Orange and southern Lake County Americans have to actually WORK to earn a living and when they finally get a few days off on the weekend to enjoy life and their quiet, country homes — they don’t want to waste time listening to a development disaster diatribe that proposes to destroy everything they love about their rural country area.

Area residents especially don’t want to waste a beautiful Saturday morning when the running rumor going around is that Boyd’s plan as currently proposed — is a non-starter, dead-on-arrival deal and his southern property parcel partners with 179 acres are so worried — they’re now looking for a “Plan B” to bail out of the nosediving Boyd-Bomber.

Maybe when Lake County Commissioners — at the upcoming final vote on September 7, 2021 — finally drive a stake into the heart of this Frankenstein’s Monster of a development by sending Scott Boyd and the McKinnon Groves Housing Hellscape packing back to the redesign drawing board…

…maybe then and only then, Scott Boyd will finally learn he has to actually listen to the people and stop bending the knee to big business, home builder interests that are destroying rural old Florida lands by seeking to build rooftops on every single square inch of open land just for greedy profit.

The final vote is on September 7, 2021 at 1:30pm before the full board of Lake County Commissioners at the Commission Chambers — 2nd Floor, 315 West Main St., Tavares, FL.

If you are angry, outraged and want to do something to STOP overdevelopment in Florida and STOP home builders from further destroying the rural character of Lake County, now is the time to make a stand.

Now is the time to let all Lake County Commissioners know how you feel.

Now is the time to let District 2 Commissioner and Chairman Sean Parks know how you feel.

Let them all know you are furious that beautiful rural lands of Lake County with teeming natural wildlife are being destroyed one planned unit development at a time.
